On the day before Christmas, my sister in law (my brother’s wife) went to the ER. She was 21 weeks pregnant and on that day, she fell from a stool and had some minor bleeding. The doctor in ER said she and the baby was OK, however from the ultra sound examination, the doctor said that her water or amniotic fluid is very little (oligohydramnios). Since after 20 weeks most of the water is come from baby’s ability to make urine, the doctor conduct 4D check on baby’s kidney. The result is normal. So he suggest her to take total rest and drink plenty of water (2L minimum), and hopefully the water can increase in the next check up.
