80's Movies

My favorite movie in the 80’s is raiders of the lost ark. This movie is where Indiana Jones an archeologist is hired by the US government to find the lost Ark of the Covenant from the Christian faith. I have always liked history and especially historical and adventure movies about looking for supernatural or historical artifacts with lots of swashbuckling, fistfights, thrilling and suspense in the movie. This movie also dealt with lost of travelling, from USA to Asia, to the Middle East. The music score from the movie was also very inspirational and uplifting and easily recognizable. This movie also starred a young Harrison Ford which is also one of my favorite actors and the action sequences features some of the most memorable stunt sequences among movies.

Another 80’s movie, The WarGames, 25th Anniversary event playing in select theaters nationwide on Thursday, July 24th. The showing is one night only and will include never-before-seen interviews with film’s creators and the cast (including Broderick and Ally Sheedy) and crew on how the movie was ahead of its time and its relevance today. Additionally, only at this one night event, get a sneak peek at the making of the sequel – WarGames: The Dead Code.
