Bypass Surgery

My FIL just recovered from the bypass surgery. The operation was done on Tuesday. It was a successful surgery and the doctor said that he is recovering very fast. Today when I visited him in the hospital, he looked good.

What is coronary artery bypass surgery?
This is a type of heart surgery. It's sometimes called CABG ("cabbage"). The surgery reroutes, or "bypasses," blood around clogged arteries to improve blood flow and oxygen to the heart.
