After giving birth how long does it take for your body to back to normal? Normally it will take about 1 year. Although some cases there are some women that are lucky enough to get her body back within 1 or 2 months. After all, your body spent nine or so months stretching and adjusting in order for your baby to develop and be born, so don't expect it to bounce back a few weeks after giving birth.
Also keep in mind that your shape won't be exactly as it was before. Your hips will slightly rounder, your waist slightly thicker, and your tummy softer and you can see some stretch marks there. But all these are small price to pay for the wonderful new person in your life.

Hi Lauri,
I agree, it's a small price to pay considering the amount of joy and happiness we get plus lots of hugs and kisses from our kids. Thanks for the visit. :)
It has taken me a year of hard work!
